Tonight is the first dinner at Bruno’s Mom’s House

We're going to make grilled fish, and a delicious vegetable pie!

This is really going to make our cooking experiences better. Bruno's momk has been trained formally in Paris. So we're really going to get to learn some traditional techniques!

We learned to make "Pate Brisee" its about the simplest pie crust that one can make. a ton of butter and a little more flour, plus just a little bit of water, and you've got it. Youve got to fold the ingredients, and then knead them with the butt of your palm, mashing forward and down, to create the flaky texture that the dough needs.

Tonight, I'm suffering allergies pretty badly. So bedtime is early.
